Care Motika M.S, L.Ac.

I have been in the healing arts field for over 20 years, beginning my formal training at the Tao Healing Arts College in 1999. I am a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with a Masters degree from Emperors College. In 2023, I completed a Masters degree in Ecology from Schumacher College in Devon, England. My degree has allowed me to further my research in the field of Classical Chinese philosophy and medicine through the lens of ecology and environmental humanities. Originally from California, I have had practices in Los Angeles, Joshua Tree and mid-coast Maine. My work and writing have been featured in Vogue Magazine, W Magazine, Freunde Von Freunden, Medicinal Roots & more. I have just completed a year long healing arts residency at Spirals in Bruton, Somerset, UK. I am passionate about sacred sites and have been actively exploring and studying their energetics for many years. This is most apparent with my focus on body and earth energetics such as meridian and ley energies. I have been a traveler and a pilgrim and both teach and practice sound healing in the US and Europe. I live in Slovenia and offer both in person and distance healing sessions, teaching and mentorship. I practice land and elemental healing with my mentor Marko Pogačnik here in Slovenia.
